We like cloth that speaks to the season we're in. Lightweight cottons, linen & India madras for Spring & Summer. On the other hand, for Fall & Winter, tweed, coarse woolens and, of course, corduroy all come to mind. For better or worse, our first memories of corduroy might be from a tired old sport coat that our professor wore while giving us too much homework, or, by our fathers & grandfathers asleep on the couch after a warm home cooked meal in what felt like the same trousers we witnessed them wear on every holiday.
