*THIS IS A MADE-TO-ORDER ITEM.* It's usually about 4-6 months between when you order your corset and when it arrives on your doorstep. ***Selecting faster shipping services will not make me sew any quicker, sorry!*** ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This corset DOES with the prototype step. (They're fully finished and functional plain white coutil corsets, and usually they fit fairly well and you kind of get two corsets for one.) You get to choose the colors, and I'm happy to slightly change the neckline and hemlines if you want (more or less plunge, different hip hemline, etc) but all other details are fixed. (you could also opt-out of the embroidery if you wanted, or add lace at the top edge.) ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This corset is a medium weight late-Victorian corset, made with 1 layer of coutil and 1 layer of dense silk satin. Super comfortable, but still provides a great shape and strong foundation for supporting heavy skirts. This model is the smoothest surfaced corset I offer! Great for a close-fitting gown or one made of a very thin fabric. High-quality synthetic whalebone substitute is what gives this corset its structure. Made to endure lots of bending and flexing without deforming or breaking. You may instead choose steel bones if you prefer (or even a mix). A metal busk closes the front, and is pre-shaped into a lovely curved pattern that gracefully curves over the tummy. Strong metal bones are the center back reinforcement. Period-size grommets and lace close the corset in back. A strong waist tape ensures the waist won't stretch, but you'll still have good flexibility over the ribs and hips. Modesty panels (fully boned) are also available for no extra charge (even though they generally aren't used in this period) ---just ask for one when you purchase! Thanks, and happy shopping!
